A freezing, cold and windy night brought victory to the Irish in a hard fought game. Notre Dame's Maeve McGinley scored the game winning goal with 5:25 left in regulation. Notre Dame saw terrific play from Reese Milone, Cami Lutte, and Kiera Sack. Episcopal Academy's goalies Peyton Smith (9 saves) and Caidyn Schmidt (13 saves) held off their opponents until the final quarter along with great play by Rebecca Block. Notre Dame finished their season ranked #2 in the nation by Max Field Hockey, #12 by MaxPreps, and Interac Champions.
