Episcopal Academy got out to a 14 point lead at the half and never looked back. EA scorers were led by Kevin McCarthy with 17 points and Murillo Peirera and Timmy Dennis with 14 each. Germantown Academy battled back in the 4th quarter but EA seniors Eddie Jones and TJ Lamb led the team defensively in their last high school game. The final score was EA 67  GA 56.

The PAISAA State Championship Game will be played on Sunday, February 26. The girls will play at 1 pm and the boys will play at 3:30 pm.

The Commonwealth Cup Final will be played on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the highest remaining seed. 

Seeding forms are due by Feb. 8 and the tournament committees will need to meet shortly after to discuss the divisional structure, and seeding, so the brackets can be posted by Friday or Saturday. The turnaround time is quick, so PAISAA thanks you for your time and work to make this happen.  

PAISAA has enough teams committed to the postseason to offer two tournaments (State Championship and Commonwealth Cup). All teams entering the tournament must submit a completed seeding form and email them to Tournament Chairs John Harmatuk (Boys) and Paul Sipes (Girls) by February 8, 2023. If the form is not received, then the committee will work with the information that they have. 

ADs, the coaches are copied on this email, so please make sure that they complete this form. There will be no appeals to the tournament committee’s seeding decision. We hope to have the brackets posted by Friday, February 10, 2023.
