Mercersburg Academy is set to host the 2014 PAISAA State Wrestling Tournament, historically recognized as the PAISWT event. FIrst round action starts on Friday, February 14th, at 2:00 pm, with the finals set to conclude with championship matches in 14 weight classes. Nationally ranked Wyoming Seminary defends its team title against longtime prep power Germantown Academy and a host of other schools out of the InterAc League, the Friends League, the Mid-Atlantic Prep League, and independents. 

The marks just the second time in the history of the state wrestling tournament that the event has moved beyond the Philadelphia area; Mercersburg also hosted the tourney in 1996.  The top six placewinners in each weight class gain automatic bids to the National Prep Tournament, the national event for independent and private schools in the USA.
