Haverford School Wins Tennis Championship 2025

Haverford brings the heat in 6-1 victory

Haverford School brought out their best tennis to capture the 2025 PAISAA tennis title.  Germantown Friends was the defending champion and the Fords came away with a 6-1 victory. They swept the singles with wins by Kaiser Zhao,  Phineas Manogue, and R.J. Neilly. In doubles action, Ian Rosenweig/Drew Carrasco won 6-3, 6-3; Gabe Crowder/Eli Leader won 6-4, 7-5 and Grant Madell/ Shaya Khgasteh fought it out to win in three sets- 6-4, 1-6, 6-2. Germantown Friends doubles team of Kevin Lee/Jack Abend won their match in three sets- 1-6, 6-2, 6-4. Haverford  coach Tracy Tooke said "In each and every match the  boys' on court presence and performance made it clear to all that they were there to win a championship. I'm super proud of their commitment and the work these boys put in alongside a rigorous academic curriculum, culminating in not one but two titles- co-champions in the Interac and the PAISAA State Championship."
