    PAISAA Spring 2021 Meeting

PAISAA athletic leaders came together via Zoom on Wednesday, April 21 to share experiences, confirm new association leadership, and plan for a return to state competition in Fall 2021.

The PAISAA executive board for 2021-2022 was presented to membership for affirmation. Chris Spahn (Kiski School) will move to the president position, as Rick Hendrickson moves to past-president. The full chart of officers is listed at the end of this article.

The association's attention then turned to the excitement of a return of PAISAA competition in fall 2021, when the new, two-divisional structure will debut. Selection of tournament committees and board liaisons brought another step in the planning for the PAISAA State Championship Division and the PAISAA Commonwealth Division. See our 'Conduct of Tournaments' and the 'Divisional Structure' site pages for details.

    2021-2022: Looking to the Future

With input from the InterAc, FSL, and G7 leagues/groups, the PAISAA executive board voted unanimously in early April to cancel the PAISAA spring championship events. Our focus has now shifted to Fall 2021 and the resumption of PAISAA championships of the future! The PAISAA events calendar for 2021-2022 will be updated in late spring.
