The game had all the drama you could want as Episcopal Academy and Germanown Academy faced off for the PAISAA Field Hockey Championship. Macy Szukics EA scored in the first half to give EA a 1-0 lead. In the second half EA scored quickly on another goal by Macy Szukics to go up 2-0.  Sammy Popper from GA then scored three unanswered goals to give Germantown Academy the lead 3-2 with 8:11 left to play. EA immediately answered back with another goal by Maddie Rehak to tie the game two minutes later. The game tied at 3-3 went into reduced sides OT and although EA had some great chances to score Olivia McMichael GA held them off with several terrific saves. The OT was followed by a shootout. Catherine McFadden from GA scored and Maddie Rehak and Gianna Pantaleo scored for EA giving them the victory 2-1.
