Penn Charter Girls Track Team Wins PAISAA Championship

Penn Charter girls entered whatever event needed to ensure victory

The girls on Penn Charter's track team entered whatever event was needed to ensure their win on Saturday at Malvern Prep. First place winners were Michaela Poland in the 400, Alli DeLisi in 1600,  Amanda Ehrenhalt in 300 Hurdles and  Olivia Montini in the 3200. Olivia Roland had a season personal best in the 300 Hurdles taking 3rd place. Cassidy Scott contributed points in the jumps and Mariah Mays in throwing events. Veronica Lentz was third in the 100 Hurdles with a personal best of 16:06.  Julia Dolce was 3rd in the 1600. In the relays- Olivia Montini stepped up to lead the 4x400 relay despite the heat; the 4x800 relay took at first with Zady Hasse, Aisling Brady, Elena Coupas, and Alex Jaffe; and the 4x100 relay with Sam Jaffe, Alex Jaffe, Cassidy Scott and Olivia Roland finished 2nd with a person best for the season. The team also captured the Interac Championship title. Two Championships in the space of a week make for a great finish to any season.
