Westtown School battled Penn Charter right down to the wire to claim their first PAISAA title 51-30. Led by six seniors- Kaylene Smikle (28 pts), Helena Lasic, Meliah Van-Otoo, Maria Donnelly, Olivia Wiggins, and Josie Boyer. Westtown trailed 47-48 with 2:24 to play when Smikle fouled out. However, Van Otoo was able to pick up the slack and score the go ahead basket with 31 seconds left. Aleah Snead led the scorers for Penn Charter and PC had several chances at the foul line in the final seconds of the game to take back the lead. Westtown struggled  in the early going but never gave up. It was a fairy tale ending for this senior led team.
