Germantown Academy Girls Repeat as Winners

GA Girls hold onto PAISAA title for the second year

Germantown Academy Girls won their second PAISAA title with strong performances across the board. Here are GA's place winners:

  • Aja McBride finished 7th in the 200m
  • Ella Metro finished 4th in the long jump
  • Sydney Cameron finished 5th in the triple jump
  • Gianna Murgia and Gabby Manosis finished 3rd and 4th in the 3200.  Gabby also scored in the 1600 with a 7th place finish.
  • Grace McGettigan finish 5th in the 400m.
  • Fiona McKenna finished 2nd in the 55m Hurdles and also jumped 5-0 in the HJ to finish 1st.
  • SJ Cohen and Quartnei Brown finished first and second in the pole vault.
  • Meaghan Toscano, Sarah Fineman, and Myah Taylor racked up the points in the shot put, finishing 1st, 2nd, and 4th.
  • Perry Irons took 1st in the 400m and 2nd in the 200m run.
  • Juli Gonzalez finished 1st 800m run. 
  • Olivia Jappe finished 1st in the 1600m run, and also took second in the 800.
  • And in the final event, Juli, Grace, Sydney, and Perry ran an exciting 4x400 relay, with Perry closing a big gap in the final leg to win the relay event.  The girls ran a New Indoor School record time of 4:23.
