Malvern Prep captured its third straight PAISAA crown on Saturday night with a 5-4 win over Perkiomen School. The day started with a 5-1 win over Haverford School. Chris Newell had two home runs and Tristan Corcoran was the winning pitcher. Perkiomen defeated Penn Charter 10-0 to earn their spot in the final. The championship game was under way  and Malvern trailed in the 7th inning until Chris Newell blasted a solo homer to tie the game.  Cam Conley singled in the 9th inning to bring in Newell for the winning run. Josh Paulina struck out 13 of 15 in relief to secure the win. This capped a 32-7 season for the Friars.
